The hotel's location is excellent, right next to St Anne's Multistory Car park and within walking distance of the Cathedral Quarter and various tourist venues, plus bars and restaurants. While the rooms were a letdown due to being extremely hot even with the window open, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dining experience had a poor selection and the hot buffet was dry and overcooked.

The hotel was quite warm even without the radiator on, and being on the main road side, it was too noisy to open a window. The rooms were tidy after the first night, but the loud music and singing from the surroundings could be bothersome. The service was friendly and offered table service within the bar, though it could be slow at times. The location, just outside the city center, was ideal for walking to places of interest. The dining experience was inconsistent, with limited options and some dishes going cold quickly.
